GrndPaGaming – a former rescue swimmer in the Navy – is now retired but has found fame streaming video games on his PC via Twitch and social media.

In recent months, he has taken to sharing clips of his sniping success in Battlefield 2042 on TikTok. These videos regularly exceed one million views and have attracted as many as 14.2 million.

Other gamers are enthralled by his impressive sniper skills, most notably his ability to hit targets from long distances.

He began the video by announcing “Something incredible happened on the year 2024.” He continued: “So, on TikTok, on this date, I got over one million followers! What a community! Oh my god!”

He also noted his success on other social media platforms. “On YouTube, over 100,000 subscribers. On Instagram, 206,000 followers! Are you kidding me?!”

GrndPaGaming wrapped the video up with a heartfelt thank you to his fans. “That’s a lot of love out there folks. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart”, he said with a lump in his throat.

The 71 year old Battlefield sniper previously told filmmaker R. W. McGrath that his wife calls his gaming “play play time”.

He also explained that his wife sometimes worries about how much time he spends streaming following two heart attacks. While she has urged him to “slow down a little bit”, he is adamant that he “can’t do it”.

On his continued commitment to gaming and streaming, GrndPaGaming said “Everyone’s gonna die sometime. Whether I die today or next year or 50 years from now, it doesn’t matter to me. It doesn’t scare me in the least. I’m gonna do what I’m gonna do, and nothing’s gonna hold me back.”
