This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (MW3) and Warzone guide explains how to enable Contextual Tap (Prioritize Interact).

Success in Call of Duty comes down to one basic fact. You must outperform your opponents. This means players are constantly looking for something to give them the competitive edge.

One of the biggest areas of debate is controller setup. Both MW3 and Warzone offer a variety of options that allow you to tweak how you use your controller.

As such, players often wonder about the optimum controller setup in MW3 and Warzone.

One feature that many players chose to enable in previous Call of Duty games is Contextual Tap. However, you may have seen it referred to by different names depending on the CoD title you’re playing.

In Modern Warfare (2019), the original Warzone, and Vanguard, it was called Contextual Tap. In Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare II, it was named Prioritize Interact.

However, it does the same thing no matter what it’s called. This handy feature means you don’t have to hold down the interact button when opening/closing doors and picking up weapons.

Instead, all you need to do is tap the interact button. This makes it much quicker and easier to collect loot, open doors, and more. The only other significant change to bear in mind is that you will need to hold the interact button if you want to reload while near an interactable object, such as loot or a door.

So, if you’re keen to learn how to enable Prioritize Interact in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Warzone, keep reading.

Change “Interact/Reload Behavior” to ‘Prioritize Interact’.

And that’s all you need to do. You will now be able to use Contextual Tap (AKA Prioritize Interact) in-game. Of course, you will need to remember that this fundamentally changes how you reload and interact with objects.

This may take some getting used to and can feel like a significant change at first. However, you should soon adapt to it and find that Contextual Tap is the superior way to play in MW3 and Warzone.
