High on Life is the trippy first person shooter from Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland and Squanch Games. It follows a brother and sister after they are transported to an alien world where the former becomes a Bounty Hunter to save humanity.
Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, High on Life has been a hit with gamers.
The game launched on 13 December with relatively little hype. However, debuting on Xbox Game Pass has proven to be a smart move. After players got the chance to try it as part of their ongoing subscriptions, it shot to the top of both the Xbox Game Pass and Steam charts.
Players have found it to be a fun and whacky experience, not least because of its unique concept of talking alien companions that double as guns – known as “Gatlians”.
At the start of High on Life you meet Kenny, a Gatlian who was in the possession of the evil G3 cartel. Kenny is one of five talking guns that players can use in High on Life.
Four of the Gatlians are acquired as the player progresses through the game. Each one has its own unique abilities and is useful in different combat scenarios. For example, Gus functions like a shotgun but can also shoot discs that can be wedged into walls and used as platoforms.
In High on Life, there is an achievement for acquiring the Lezduit gun. Lezduit is an incredibly powerful Gatlian that is capable of dispatching multiple enemies at the same time. This undoubtedly makes it the best gun in the game.

High on Life features seven bosses. Each of them is a high-ranking member of the G3 cartel and are the Bounty Hunter’s main targets.
You first come across Lezduit while on the hunt for Dr. Giblets – the game’s fifth boss. He’s trapped in Giblet’s lab and is unconscious. After defeating the mad doctor and rescuing Lezduit, your bounty hunting mentor Gene gets to work on fixing him up.
As Lezduit needs a serious surgical repair, he isn’t available to use right away. And that’s left players wondering if you get to use him at all.
This is how to get Lezduit in High on Life: After finding Lezduit in Dr Giblet’s lab, players must progress through the game and defeat the sixth boss Nipulon before Lezduit can be used.
Once you have beaten Nipulon and returned home, Gene will give you Lezduit in preparation for your fight with the seventh and final boss, Garmantuous.
Unfortunately, either Giblet’s experiments or Gene’s repair damaged Lezduit’s vocal capacity – so he can only say one thing: his name. But that doesn’t stop him from being the most powerful gun in High on Life.
