Fans have now had a couple of weeks to get to grips with Horizon Forbidden West. And it’s shaping up to be one of this year’s biggest hits. It’s a deep game full of compelling characters. Some of the most interesting characters are those that Aloy recruits into her base. Kotallo, a tribal warrior who lost his arm in the battle of Barren Light, is one such companion. During the What Was Lost side quest, you must find components to construct a prosthetic arm for Kotallo. After finding the access point, you need to trek through the facility to find the parts you need. Here’s how to find the components in Horizon Forbidden West…
How To Find The Components in Horizon Forbidden West – What Was Lost
The Far Zenith lab is a big facility and getting to the components is pretty tricky.
This is how to find the components in Horizon Forbidden West What Was Lost quest:
- From the main storage room, head out the door at the south end (the one you came in through).
- Drop down the ledge/walk down the stairs to the right and proceed down the hallway. Turn left at the end.
- Go up the ramp and turn right at the top. Go up the staircase on your left.
- At the top of the stairs, turn right. Walk across the walkway and go through door at the end.
- In the room, turn right through the doorway into another room. Turn left, head to the end, then turn left again through the door. Turn right and head into Ninmah Research Lab.
- Look left and you will see a vent. Use your Pullcaster to open it and head through.
- Turn right out of the vent and left into the next room.
- *Optional* In the room, turn left and pry open the door at the east end for some valuable loot.
- In the south east corner of the room, look up at the ceiling. Use your Pullcaster on the vent.
- Go into the vent and then turn left, left again, right, then head down out of the vent.
- After dropping down, go to the other end of the room and turn right through the door.
- Finally, turn right and walk all the way to the other end of the room. Pry open the crate and find the components inside.
Now you have the components, you need to give them to Kotallo.
