Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone is a significant departure from previous seasons. That’s because it’s Halloween-themed. Most notably, The Haunting special event will begin on 17th October when Season 6 Reloaded begins. Before then, players have three licensed bundles to look forward – one of which brings a seriously cool DOOM shotgun to MW2 and Warzone.

The shotgun, which will arrive in the form of a weapon blueprint for the Lockwood 300, has attracted much interest on social media. The weapon blueprint is called the “Super Shotgun” and features the classic look of the double-barrelled shotgun from DOOM. Its low resolution textures are also complimented by low frame rate animations.

So, how can players get their hands on the DOOM shotgun in MW2 and Warzone?

To get the DOOM shotgun, you must purchase the Tracer Pack: DOOM bundle when it is released on 9th October 2023.

The Tracer Pack: DOOM bundle will include:

  • Super Shotgun Weapon Blueprint
  • Chainsaw Melee Blueprint
  • DOOM Loading Screen
  • Doomguy Gunscreen
  • DOOM Weapon Charm
  • Gibs, Health Mug, Lost Soul and POV Emblems
  • Cacodemon and Slayer Stickers

The price of the Tracer Pack: DOOM bundle has not been confirmed. However, players can reasonably expect it to cost the same as other licensed bundles that don’t feature an operator skin. That means the Tracer Pack: DOOM bundle will likely cost 1,800 COD Points.

Activision has confirmed that any weapons or operators purchased in MW2 and Warzone will carry over to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Therefore, the DOOM weapons will be available to use in the new CoD title which is set to launch on 10th November 2023.
