The long-awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ is finally here. It’s been 17 years since fans last saw a live-action Kenobi on screen. That appearance was in Star Wars: Episode IIIRevenge of the Sith. Ewan McGregor reprises the character, which is perhaps his most famous role. The new series has been well-received so far, and is sure to treat fans to plenty of twists and turns along the way. When Obi-Wan Kenobi begins, the titular character is on Tatooine watching over a young Luke Skywalker. But Luke’s twin sister – Princess Leia – quickly becomes Kenobi’s primary focus when she is kidnapped by the Inquisitors. With Kenobi, Luke, and Leia noticeably older than when we last saw them in Episode III, you might be wondering exactly how much time has passed and asking how old is Leia in Obi-Wan Kenobi

How old is Leia in Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Leia has been living on Alderaan with Senator Bail Organa and Queen Breha Organa. They adopted her following the events of Episode III. This is where Leia’s royal title and last name come from. In the new Obi-Wan Kenobi show on Disney+, Obi-Wan – now known as Ben – is recruited by Senator Bail Organa to rescue Leia when she is taken by a group of bounty hunters working for the Inquisitors. This makes Leia a central character is the series despite being just a young girl. She is portrayed by Vivien Lyra Blair.

This is how old Leia is in Obi-Wan Kenobi. Princess Leia is 10 years old in Obi-Wan Kenobi. We know this because the series takes place 10 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. At the end of that film, Luke and Leia were born. Additionally, Leia confirms her age to Obi-Wan in episode two “Part II”. He asks her how old she is, and she responds by telling him she is 10.

While it’s unclear exactly what’s in store for Leia in the rest of the series, we can’t wait to find out!
