Pocket Pair has released a new patch for their “Pokémon with guns” survival game, Palworld. The update for Palworld, v0.1.3.0, was released on Steam on 25 January – you can find the official patch notes further down in this article.

While Palworld has seen incredible and totally unexpected success, it isn’t without significant bugs and technical issues.

Despite selling more than eight million copies on Steam, the game remains in Early Access.

Having only been released six days ago, developer Pocket Pair yesterday revealed the game’s Early Access Roadmap.

As part of the roadmap, Pocket Pair confirmed that “numerous bugs have been identified, and we are prioritizing fixing those.” The highest priority enhancements are “Key configuration improvements” and “Improvements to base Pal AI and pathing”, Pocket Pair said.

Regarding future updates for Palworld, Pocket Pair said the following features are planned:

  • PvP
  • Raid Bosses (End-Game Content)
  • Pal Arena (PvP for Pals)
  • Steam-Xbox Crossplay
  • Various Xbox Feature Improvements
  • Server Transfers and Migrations
  • Improvements to the Building System
  • New islands, Pals, Bosses, and Technologies
