Stray: How To Fix Generator – Dead End

The generator in Stray Dead End chapter

This Stray guide explains how to fix the generator in the Dead End chapter.

Stray is finally here after months of anticipation. And it hasn’t disappointed.

The new game from BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive delivers a puzzle packed adventure where you control a cat on his mission to reunite with his family.

He joins up with robot drone B-12 and the two must work together to open a sealed city and save its robot inhabitants.

Stray offers everything you could want from a game where you play as a cat. Run, jump, scratch – it’s all here. And it’s great fun.

The cat’s adventure in Stray involves solving puzzles every step of the way. Some are easy while others can leave you stuck and testing the limits of your brain power.

Shortly after the start of the Dead End chapter, you come across a generator on the way to Doc’s. It doesn’t work and needs to be fixed.

The generator is missing a component – a fuse – which you need to find and install to get it working.

Let’s go over how to fix the generator in Stray

How To Fix Generator in Stray – Dead End

This is how to fix the generator in Stray:

  1. Follow the yellow and black cables from the generator to Doc’s house.
  2. Once inside, go downstairs and talk to Doc.
  3. On a nearby table in the back room you will find what looks like a large flashlight – it is the Defluxor. Interact with it and Doc will tell you the generator is needed to power it. He then gives you a Fuse.
  4. Return to the generator and install the Fuse.

The generator will now be operational and you will be able to use the Defluxor to kill Zurks.

Be careful though, the Defluxor is liable to overheat if you use it for too long.
