This Tekken 8 guide explains how to download an opponent’s ghost.

Tekken 8 is a landmark title in the long-running fighting game series. And after seven previous instalments, that’s a remarkable achievement.

But as you might expect, its online component is incredibly competitive. That means players need to practice hard and learn to adapt to their mistakes.

Tekken 8‘s ghost system is the best way to do this. If you are handily defeated by an opponent, you can actually download a ‘ghost’ (offline) version of their fighter that emulates their play style.

Naturally, these are incredibly useful for practicing against. But downloading and fighting against ghosts isn’t exactly self-explanatory.

So, here’s how to do it…

How to download an opponent’s ghost in Tekken 8

To download an opponent’s ghost after a Ranked Match, select “Profile” in the post-fight screen. The option to “Download Ghost” will appear, highlighted in yellow.
