Tekken 8 has finally arrived and is an absolute treat for both fans of the series and newcomers.
It improves on previous instalments in just about every way and brings the series into the current generation with a bang.
Tekken 8 also offers trophy hunters the chance to earn a surprisingly easy platinum. However, some of its trophies aren’t particularly self-explanatory and it isn’t immediately obvious how to earn them.
One example of this is the “Please don’t tell my father” trophy. This bronze trophy sounds simple – all you need to do is win a Group Match.
But the game doesn’t actually explain what a Group Match is or how to play one. Having earned this trophy for ourselves, we know exactly what you need to do.

How to play a Group Match in Tekken 8
To play a Group Match, select “Tekken Fight Lounge” from the Online section of the Main Menu.
Once you have loaded into the Fight Lounge, make your way inside the arcade. Look for the area with the pink lights and the sign “Group Match”.
Approach one of the arcade machines in this area and press X/A to begin a Group Match.
To earn the “Please don’t tell my father” trophy, all you need to do is win the Group Match and that’s it.
