This Tekken 8 guide explains how to unlock Super Ghost Battle.

Tekken 8 features many different modes for players to hone their fighting skills. But not all of them are available right away.

That’s where Super Ghost Battle comes in. This special mode offers a surprising new feature that incorporates AI learning.

It’s actually pretty mind-blowing stuff that players will definitely want to check out.

We’ll get into exactly how it works in a bit more detail later in this article, but let’s first explain how to unlock the new mode.

How to unlock Super Ghost Battle in Tekken 8

To unlock Super Ghost Battle, you must play the Arcade Quest mode until you defeat the character Jet at the Phoenix arcade.

After doing this, the Super Ghost Battle mode will be unlocked. You can enter the mode by travelling to the Final Round arcade in Arcade Quest, or by selecting Super Ghost Battle from the main menu.

What is Super Ghost Battle?

Super Ghost Battle is an innovative new mode that allows the player to fight against three types of opponents:

  • Your own Ghost
  • Downloaded Ghosts
  • CPU Ghosts

Your own Ghost is character based on AI learning of your own tactics and tendencies. It will fight like you and employ moves and blocks in the same way you would.

The more you fight against your AI counterpart, the more skilled and accurate it will become.

Downloaded Ghosts are versions of characters based on opponents you have faced online.

CPU Ghosts are based on play data from the developers of Tekken 8.

The mode is an excellent way to enhance your fighting skills and become more aware of your mistakes and how to correct them.

You can begin fighting in Super Ghost Battle by approaching the arcade machine at the centre of the room or by speaking with the avatars.
