Amnesia: The Bunker – Code for Administration Room door

Administration Room door in Amnesia: The Bunker

This guide details the code for the Administration Room door in Amnesia: The Bunker.

Is there anything more terrifying than the thought of being trapped underground in the dark, stalked by an unseen monster? That’s what Amnesia: The Bunker sets out to prove in this latest sequel in the horror series.

The Bunker takes place in – you guessed it – an underground bunker. It is World War I, and French soldier Henri Clement finds himself trapped beneath the battlefield with his slain comrades and an unknown foe – “the Beast”.

After making your way through the game’s opening sequence, Henri finds himself in the Administration Room. This location functions as a safe room for Henri. It is somewhere you will visit constantly throughout your time in Amnesia: The Bunker. Here, you can save your progress, check the map, and refuel the generator that powers the underground hell-hole’s lighting.

However, before you can leave this area, you need to find the Code for the Administration Room door. While this might not be an appealing thought due to the danger that lurks outside, you need to move forward to get out of the bunker alive.

The door requires a code which can be found nearby.

This is the code for the Administration Room door in Amnesia: The Bunker: 6488. The code can be found on the dog tag belonging to the dead soldier slumped on the floor in the corner of the Generator Room.

After you have picked up the dog tag, you need to rotate it to reveal the door code on the back.

Once you have the code, return to the door in the Administration Room and turn the dials on the lock to 6488. This will unlock the door. Finally, interact with the latch to open it and head out into the sprawling underground maze.

It is worth noting that you will return here often to refuel the generator. So, be sure to leave the door open whenever you exit to ensure you can get inside to safety as quickly as possible… You never know what might be following you.
