This indie hit has proven popular on Steam, but after its release in late-June, fans are starting to wonder about future content. In particular, you might be asking “does Dave the Diver have mods?”
One of the primary appeals of PC gaming is mods. Fans can create their own content for virtually any game long after it has been released. Games such as Skyrim and Fallout thrive on mods and have active modding communities. The content these communities create have helped sustain long-term interest in these games.
So, it’s only natural that PC gamers want and expect mods for most games that release on the platform. With Dave the Diver being such a unique title and a surprise hit, players will undoubtedly be on the lookout for new content to expand the game.
In Dave the Diver, players take on the role of Dave. Dave is a diver, as the game’s title suggests. He has teamed up with his friends to open a sushi restaurant. During the day, Dave must dive and catch fish to serve. At night, he runs the front of house operation at the restaurant.
As part of all this is a variety of different quests to complete, equipment to craft, items to collect, and characters to meet. Therefore, it stands to reason that Dave the Diver would be an excellent candidate for mods.
Does Dave the Diver have mods?
Unfortunately, there are no mods for Dave the Diver.
While this may be disappointing news for fans, it is likely due to the game being so new and because it’s an indie title that is far less popular than the leading AAA games.
That doesn’t mean there won’t be mods released in the future, however. In fact, it’s likely that there will be at least a small collection of mods created for Dave the Diver eventually.
Dave the Diver cheats
Despite the current lack of mods, there are a variety of cheats available for Dave the Diver online. While these don’t introduce new content, they allow you to modify and exploit aspects of the game to mix things up and keep it fresh.
As for what the cheats actually do, they include things such as invincibility, unlimited gold, unlimited stamina, and much more.
