UAV tower in Warzone 2.0

This guide explains how to use UAV towers for free in Warzone 2.0 by using a glitch.

UAVs have long been one of the most valuable resources in Call of Duty. This is especially true in Warzone where knowing the positions of enemy players can be the difference between life and a trip to the gulag.

Season 3 of Warzone 2.0 introduced a number of changes to the popular battle royale mode. One such alteration was the introduction of DMZ’s UAV towers.

For those who don’t know, UAV towers are static comms stations that provide a view of enemy players in the local area. Once activated, they scan the area for threats so that you can get the jump on other players.

While they are free in DMZ, they cost $2000 to use in Warzone 2.0. Saving up cash can be integral to your survival in the competitive battlefields of Al Mazrah and so players have wasted no time figuring out a way to circumvent this expense.

Let’s go over how to use UAV towers for free in Warzone 2.0.

How to use UAV towers for free in Warzone 2.0 (glitch)

The ability to use UAV towers for free is a glitch that you can exploit in Warzone. Before you do, be aware that cheaters can be punished with temporary and permanent bans. While there’s a good chance you might not get banned, use this glitch at your own risk.

UAV tower on the map in Warzone 2.0

This is how to use UAV towers for free in Warzone 2.0:

  1. Acquire $2000 in cash.
  2. Locate a UAV tower on the map and travel to it.
  3. When interacting with the UAV tower, open your backpack and drop your money.
  4. Once the UAV tower is active, pick up the money you dropped.

By completing these actions, you will have acquired a 20-second UAV without spending any money.

Once the tower is active, other players on the map can see the detection radius. However, you will be able to pinpoint their exact location free of charge.
