Roblox is one of the world’s most popular games. 200 million fans log in every month to play a variety of games on the platform. But, just as with most video games, controversy is commonplace among its legions of players. A hot topic in the Robloxian community right now is the supposed removal of the Roblox bacon hair.

“Bacon Hair” is the nickname of “Pal Hair”, the long-time hairstyle of Roblox‘s default male avatar. Robloxian’s have given it this nickname due to its resemblance to the crispy cured meat.

Despite it being a fan-favourite hair accessory, rumours have recently spread suggesting that it has been removed from the platform. Naturally, this has sparked anger and frustration in the community. But has Pal Hair actually been removed from Roblox?

Has Roblox Bacon Hair been removed?

Bacon Hair has not been removed from Roblox.

It is still available in the game as of August 2023 and can be purchased for free from the Roblox Marketplace.

The confusion surrounding Bacon Hair is likely related to the introduction of new default avatars. Bacon Hair is no longer equipped as standard on these new avatars, but it can be easily re-equipped if you wish.

Additionally, Roblox announced on 1st August 2023 that players will be able to animate their avatar using their camera. To support this change, the company is in the process of introducing new animated heads to accompany the updated default avatars.
