Warzone player shares moment hacker crashed server because they lost

Call of Duty Warzone operators and an Anonymous hacker

We have all been disconnected from our favourite online games because of a dodgy connection – but did we ever consider that somebody intentionally caused the disconnection?

One Call of Duty: Warzone player happened across somebody who allegedly did just that after losing the game and has shared the footage to show everyone what went down.

TikTok user tru.twizzy showed the moment that their teammate lost in the gulag and responded by apparently crashing the game server, disconnecting all other players in the match.

In the clip, the alleged hacker got gunned down in the gulag bringing their time in that particular Warzone game to an end. “I’m gonna crash the server, they’re not gonna win,” said the frustrated player, “spectate somebody.”

Tru.twizzy then stayed in the game and, as instructed, spectated an enemy player to see if anything happened.

“Let me get the IP [address] real quick,” said the random player, “we win or nobody wins, bro.”

They then announced that it would take about 15 seconds for the server to crash.

Sure enough, the game started lagging before ultimately freezing at the end of the video. Tru.twizzy, who goes by ULackSkill on YouTube, responded in disbelief, “He did not! He crashed the server! What in the world!?”

How exactly the random player managed to crash the server is a mystery – whether he used a DDoS attack or some other method to render the server unavailable is unclear. Nevertheless, the timing of the crash seems too precise to be a coincidence.
