Lots of praise is being directed at the game’s incredible setting – the Lands Between. The Lands Between is packed full of interesting and awe-inspiring locations that are dying to be explored. One of these is Testu’s Rise, which can be found on a small isle in Liurnia of the Lakes. What makes Testu’s Rise intriguing is that its entrance is blocked by a barrier, and you need to solve an extremely vague puzzle in order to open it. How to solve Testu’s Rise puzzle in Elden Ring
Before you worry about breaking the seal, you need to find Testu’s Rise. It’s not difficult to locate. Just head north from Raya Lucaria Academy to the small isle on the map. You’ll find the Sorcerer’s Isle Site of Grace here. Once you reach the isle, make your way to the centre. There you will find Testu’s Rise. As you approach, you’ll notice the entrance is blocked by a blue barrier. Approach the imp statue at the foot of the stairs. It’s holding a book containing an unclear instruction: “Seek three wise beasts”. When you’ve read this instruction, Ghostly Skeletons will rise from the ground and attack you – so be careful!
This is how to solve Testu’s Rise puzzle in Elden Ring. Three Ghostly Tortoises are the “three wise beasts” the clue is referring to. You can find them quite easily in the area surrounding Testu’s Rise. Simply avoid the Ghostly Skeletons and explore the isle. When you spot a Tortoise, attack it and it will disappear. One is located nearby the tower on the cliffs to the north west. Another is up a tree to the east of the tower. The third tortoise can be found on a ledge to the south east. The tower’s seal will unlock once you’ve killed each tortoise.
Now you’ve opened the tower’s entrance, head inside and make your way to the top. You’ll find a chest there. Open it and claim your reward – a Memory Stone!
